I am a professional counsellor with a Diploma

from wpf (Westminster Pastoral Foundation), a Foundation Degree in Psychodynamic Counselling from UWE, Bristol and a BA in  English Literature from Oxford University.

My background in the Arts has made me mindful of the power of language and I have 25 years’ experience as a writer and writing-facilitator in health and community settings - including hospitals, schools and GP surgeries – working alongside adults and young people as they tell stories and articulate their emotions.

As a counsellor I offer a confidential space where you

can explore your thoughts and feelings and work through

difficulites. My approach is warm, respectful, down-to-earth

and non-judgemental.

I am  a Registrant of BPC (British Psychoanalytic Council) and an Accredited Registered  Member of BACP (British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists). I practice according to the  BCP and BACP Ethical frameworks. (See  www.bacp.co.uk/ethical_framework)

I am also a member of Lapidus (see www.lapidus.org.uk) and NAWE (the National Association of Writers in Education (www.nawe.co.uk). See my Counselling Directory listing.
